Municipal “Residential Property Tax Exemption”
The Council of the Municipality of Argyle has approved a Tax Exemption Policy which provides partial tax relief of current taxes on primary residences from low-income property owners. The maximum exemption is limited to $300.00 per year per household.
A completed Application for Residential Property Tax Exemption Form and a copy of the 2022 or 2023 Notice of Assessment from Revenue Canada is required. Applications are to be returned on or before April 19, 2024.
