Memory Cafés are popping up across Nova Scotia and the Municipality of Argyle is happy to be supporting this age-friendly initiative.

What is a Memory Café? It’s a social opportunity (in a café-like setting) that brings together persons living with mild cognitive impairment and/or dementia and their care partner(s). You can be sure that music, food, and friendly discussions will abound. The cafés bring together members of the community in order to end social stigma around dementia, help persons connect, have fun, learn and laugh together.
When and where do they take place?

Our Next session is scheduled on Tuesday, March 12 at Wild Roots Restaurant in Tusket from 2:30pm to 3:30pm
How do I register? To register, or if you need more information, please phone our Recreation Department at 902-648-3379.
