Voter Information:
You can vote in municipal elections if....
- You are 18 years or older and a Canadian Citizen on the first advance polling day
- You have been ordinarily resident in Nova Scotia for 6 months immediately preceding the first advanced polling day
- You are an ordinarily resident in the Municipality of Argyle and have been so immediately before the first advance polling day
You are considered a disqualified person to vote in the municipal election if you are:
- The municipal Returning Officer
- An inmate in a correctional or reform center
- A person convicted of bribery under the Municipal Elections Act in the 6 years preceding election day
